Canadian Pacific Railway (NYSE:CP) and the Unifor union reached a tentative collective agreement Friday for 1,200 workers who are responsible for maintaining the company’s rail cars and locomotives.
The company and the union said details of the tentative contract will not be released publicly until the agreement has been ratified.
The previous collective agreement had expired at the end of December; negotiations had been ongoing since September.
Analysts at J.P. Morgan recently named CP Rail (CP) a top pick in the transports and logistics sector.
